Make Your Own: Rustic-Style Spring Wreath

To make a rustic wreath, you’ll need a wreath base (polystyrene or wicker), a soft decorative chalk-effect paint (choose from over 30 beautiful vintage shades), a brush, polystyrene eggs, a piece of old fabric, a hot glue gun, and any ribbon you like (preferably cotton).

First, dilute the soft decorative paint with water and soak a piece of fabric in it. Once it has dried, you can move on to the next step.

Wrap the fabric around the wreath and use a hot glue gun to shape it into even folds.

Paint the polystyrene eggs with the same paint. It creates a beautiful soft effect. You can also experiment by combining several shades to create a fresh spring contrast.

Once the eggs are dry, attach a ribbon and glue them around the wreath. We can add various decorative details between the eggs, such as straw or flowers.

The wreath is ready. Now all that’s left is to put our feet up and enjoy the days ahead.
